People who feel isolated have haywire immune systems, researchers say.

Summary:
A research pointed out that lonely people are more inclined to get sick and even die younger. Itis because biological influence on social isolation has deep connection with our genes. However, though the issue about whether mental or physical traits come first was not yet confirmed, biologists suggested that there might be a way to prevent the side effects caused by loneliness.

The care technology does not only benifits the society.But, fuels an industry market which worth some $1.08 billion as well. Shigehisa Kobayashi, whom the inventor of My Spoon feeding robot, said the robots were created to give people control over their own live.As the aging of the population continue, people no longer spend their late years on the traditional care provided by children.In fact, that is where cutting-edge technology steps in. Robots are also a help for caregivers, too.The technology provides big abundance of support. After all, the high -tech equipments still include great humanity which satisfied the users.

Oakland Puts Crime Statistics Maps On the Internet

summary:

Oakland put its crime statistics on the web. The crimes which are rarely reported by newspapers or TV would be post on the internet,in a few days, neighbors can read all about it.As the informations is made available to the citizens, they essentially will be come partners to battle down crimes.


I think it is a good idea for the government to purchase this kind of system.Because it can help improve the control of the crime. But, whether the people would gain attention to public safety is unkown, afterall, safer living surroundings may let peoples' conciousness towards danger decrease.
